I'm a seasoned UX practitioner with 10 years of experience in design and research. My career began in 2014 as an infographic designer at Piktochart, where user-centred practices were widely adopted across teams. This fundamentally shaped my design process with a data and research-first mindset.
Naturally, I yearned to do more with UX, but if I'm honest, I was afraid to take the leap. I was (and still am) enjoying creating infographics. So, I took several months learning to build my freelance infographic business from scratch while self-learning UX tools and practices. I successfully secured 8 clients based in the US in the span of six months.
In 2021, I found my path in Product Design, designing apps and web-based solutions. I worked on financial-related services. I led research and design, creating and validating proof of concepts for an early-stage financial wellness product. It was a challenging and fulfilling time to be part of the end-to-end lifecycle of a product launch. I helped gain 1,000+ customer uptake in the span of 8 months.
Guess what happened next? I wanted to do more in UX.
My interest in the industry expanded. I did my own research, speaking to researchers and designers. It was evident the more I considered it, the more I knew it was right for me. I formally transitioned my role to UX Research.
Why Research? I want the work I do to have an impact, a positive one. Research is a powerful avenue to shape and craft what people need. I want to support and show up as research partners to my collaborators.
In the past 5 years, I had the opportunity to work with great people at HappyFresh and Uber Australia. I’m currently based in the UK and would like to continue doing impactful research work.
🧠 My work ethos includes the 3C’s:
